Vintage Bird Brooch Gold Tone Bird Pair Framed Cabochon with Quail Pair Brooch Pendant

This is a beautiful vintage gold brooch that reminds you of a picture frame. The center is a cabochon featuring a pair of birds that look like Quail. I am not certain if the birds are painted on there or if it is something like decoupage. The brooch measures a little over 2 1/4 inches by 2 inches. The back has a pin to wear this as a brooch or a pendant holder to add to a chain so one can wear as a necklace. There does appear to be a small crack in the center cabochon but really only noticeable if you hold it up to the light It would make an excellent addition to your vintage jewelry collection.
